just saw the coachella line up. not that great, unfortunately. the nightmarchers are playing, and that would rock, but i dont really see anyone else i’d travel to see. i hoped that, this being my first year in california, it would be a great line up and i’d be excited and actually able to go, but i’m not planning on it. bummer.

yayy la jolla! i live in sd, my best friend is coming to visit, and we’re going out to dinner in la jolla tonight! its beauuuttifullll there. easily one of my favorite neighborhoods in san diego, behind ocean beach.

i went to the library this weekend to pick up some books, and i was strolling through the aisles when i stumbled upon the john updike section. “hm,” i thought to myself, “i haven’t read anything by john updike recently.” and basically cleaned out the section.
i read on cnn today that he passed away, at age 75, from lung cancer. what a loss.
i completely missed the whole hunter boots sale on gilt :(

gilt is my new absolute favorite website ever. i was amped about the accessories sale, but being on the west coast, i logged in pretty late in the day and missed all the really good stuff :( oh wellll, next time!
thought i was over being so emo, and then i discovered ( for the fourth time) limewire. and downloaded alllllllll the bands i listened to in college. currently, im playing “okay, i believe you, but my tommy gun doesn’t” by brand new and shocked i still remember every word.
i was planning on some gym action this evening anyway, but i just saw pictures of helena christensen and its like EXTRA HOUR ON TREADMILL RIGHT NOW. she is freaking 41 and has the most amazing body! agh!

the sky tonight was beautiful. looking at the horizon and seeing palm trees is my favorite feeling.
i just read the entire circuitcity website regarding their liquidation, and for whatever reason, it really, really bummed me out.

i just spent the better part of an hour sitting on my bed with the boy laughing at stuffwhitepeoplelike.com. i know im like a billion years too late to be all “OMG its so funny have you seen it?” but it was the best part of my night, thus far.
i am feeling completely directionless.

I’m supposed to be doing the laundry that I have been ignoring for about a month, but I find that not having any clean teeshirts forces me to wear all the wonderful sweaters I brought back to San Diego from Connecticut the last time I was home.

woke up sick yesterday morning. still feeling icky. though, i had some apple cinnamon tea with honey and i felt a bit better.
